John Rice has donated many paintings to Stripers Forever over the years. This is an unframed original watercolor named The Blitz, and it is 8 x 10 inches. There is no more iconic striper location on the East Coast than this setting which is Stonewall Point, just a short walk east of the Squibnocket Beach parking lot on Martha’s Vineyard. John’s illustrations appear in many of the top outdoor magazines, and his painting are widely collected. On top of all this John is a striper fisherman, and he understands the feel of the sport, and the places where stripers hang out.
