Description
This is a “trip for two” involving 7-8 hours fly fishing with ultralight tackle for striped bass in an estuary using a canoe to move between different spots where we stop and wade the flats and fish the channels. We start about 2-3 hours after high tide and “ride the tide” downriver on the ebb and then back upriver on the rising tide until we are pushed off the flats. It’s a wonderful way to fish stripers!
Duration of Trip:
7-8 Hrs.
Location of Trip:
Ipswich, MA
Items Provided by Donor:
Generally, I bring a few sandwiches (usually peanut butter and jelly: if you start to get cold, they are the cure) but am willing to do something different. I’ll bring a few bottles of water as well, and maybe some fruit if you want.
Items That Bidder Must Provide:
I would recommend that you have a good hat and polaroid glasses. I would encourage you to wade wet unless it’s very early or very late season; be prepared for some exercise. We work for our fish, but often find plenty of ’em!
Dates/Time Frame Available for Trip:
Anytime from late May until late August 2019. We’ll schedule it at some mutually convenient date.
