The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) is a compact between states from Maine to Florida that has regulatory oversight over striped bass. Each state has three positions on the committee plus a member or two to the striped bass advisory board. Here is a link to their website for more information http://www.asmfc.org/.
Stripers Forever frequently provides comment to the ASMFC and encourages its members to do the same. Attached you will find a list of ASMFC striped bass board contacts. We try to keep this list current, but sometimes changes are not announced on a timely basis. It is never a bad idea to verify with your state the contact information for your state’s striped bass board and advisory members.”
