Stripers Forever Chesapeake and Carolinas - please take a minute to fill out the attached 2003 fishing survey for us. You will see that there are a number of questions here not only about the trends in fishing, but your views on conservation and management issues that will be important to the direction of advocacy initiatives that we are planning for the near future. Response from further north has been
excellent, and we are collecting some valuable insights.
If you subscribe to multiple states you may already have gotten this request since we are working our way south, and ME through DE have already been sent the survey. PLEASE DO NOT FILL IT OUT AGAIN. WE WANT OUR SURVEY TO BE JUST ONE RESPONSE PER ANGLER SO THAT IT IS AS VALID AS POSSIBLE. I normally send everyone a thank you that acknowledges my receipt of your survey.
This is also a good opportunity to get your fishing friends to belong to
SF. Forward them the survey and tell them to Join SF. To make sure,
though, that we have only valid responses we are checking the responses
against our membership list, so please ask them to join before sending it
in. Numbers of supporters are the key.
If you are not familiar with how to handle this attachment, here are some
instructions:
1. Double click the attachment and it will open up.
2. Select File, Save As, and attach the document to your desktop - or
wherever you'd like.
3. Fill out the Word document. Your responses may cause the text ahead
of your typing to move. Just delete un wanted space and you will be able
to handle things fine.
4. Send us a return e-mail and attach the filled out copy that you saved.
We suggest that you delete all but the multiple choice answer that you
want to give, but others have just turned to bold or put their choice in
parenthesis. We can figure out most responses.
