Charlotte NC Flyfishing show

Stripers Forever - we have the opportunity of a donated booth at the Charlotte NC Fly Fishing Show on Feb. 26, 27. In order to do this show properly we need a volunteer to take charge of the event. This would entail setting up a simple booth, which means a small table - which can be rented if necessary - some art work - which we can ship down, and a number of SF sign up sheets which essentially are a printed version of the web sign up page. These would be sent back to us after the show and we will enter the new members into our database. I,
along with other SF volunteers, have done a number of these shows. They are simple, but a moderate amount of work. You simply ask people who look at the booth if they fish for stripers, if they say yes you tell them what we are trying to do and tell them membership is free. A very high percentage will simply sign up at that point. It is not hard.
If we can find a volunteer to be the point man, this is a good opportunity for us to add substantially to our membership in the area. We'd really like to do that. If you think you might be interested just reply and we can talk about it. Thanks Brad Burns
