Stripers Forever - the Saltwater Edge outfitters of Newport RI is having its 6th annual Saltwater Edge Fly Tying and Tackle Craft Fair & Conservation Raffle February 19th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Newport, RI from 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. There is a very full program of speakers, and exhibitors, including many of the region's top guides and fishing experts. Here is the address to their website that completely explains the show and how to get there.
Many tackle shops support Stripers Forever in its efforts to make wild striped bass a gamefish and therefore maximize the public benefits that this species has to offer. Last year The Saltwater Edge took this support to a new level, by donating a portion of their conservation raffle to the operation of SF. This year, though, they are providing all of the raffle ticket revenues to our work with the Southwick Study. We commend Saltwater Edge owner Peter Jenkins for his efforts to provide a bright saltwater fishing future for this and future generations.
MA and RI state chairmen Dean Clark and Jim White will be at the event, we hope to see you there. For those who cannot attend, but are interested in the high caliber prizes and supporting the Southwick Study, you can purchase tickets on line. You can read all about the raffle, and use the linc on their website to order.

note - those of you who have checked off interest in MA, RI, or CT along with other states will get this broadcast sent for each state that they have checked off.
