New Fly Fishing Movie to Benefit Striped Bass Research

Stripers Forever members - Fly Fishing in Maine and CCA-Maine are very excited to partner to bring you an exclusive, advanced fundraising showing of the new fly fishing movie CONNECT, from Confluence Films, the producers of the highly acclaimed DRIFT and RISE fly fishing films.
The film features a segment in Maine with Captain Eric Wallace of Coastal Fly Angler and CCA-Maine president, Mac McKeever as they pole the flats of Casco Bay in search of shallow-water stripers. Other locations in the film include Japan, Cuba, Alaska and more.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Stripers Forever Myco Research Project and a collaborative program between Bowdoin, USM and Bates to study alewife populations in the Kennebec and Androscoggin.
Two showings are scheduled for Friday, October 28 at the Frontier Café’ in Brunswick, at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets are only $10 and are going fast, so please click on the link below for more information, to view the trailer and to reserve your ticket today!
