Stripers Forever - again this year the Rhode Island Saltwater Angler's Association "RISAA" has generously donated a booth to Stripers Forever at their New England Saltwater Fishing Show. The show will be in the Rhode Island Convention Center on 4/1,2,3. Full information about the show is available at their show website www.nesaltwatershow.com.
Last year's show saw many new members from both RI and MA signing up to support gamefish. We must capitalize on this opportunity again this year. We need to have at least 3 volunteers in the booth at all times during the show. This show features evening hours until 9:00 on Friday, and until 7:00 on Saturday. Show duty is easy. We have pads of sign up sheets that are simply printouts of our Become A Member screen from the SF website. You just ask people to fill one out and tell them that we will enter their free membership for them. We will also offers hats, decals, and our new 40-inch fish ruler decal for sale.
If you would like to help the gamefish cause this is a great opportunity to spend a shift in the booth and enjoy a great show. If you can spare a half day or more please reply to this e-mail with the times that you are available, and we will get back to you. Thanks. Brad Burns
