Stripers Forever members - next weekend, March 19-21, LLBean in Freeport, Maine will have its Annual Spring Fishing Weekend. As in the past LLBean has been kind enough to give Stripers Forever a booth to help us build membership. This is a great event and always fun to attend.
Captain Doug Jowett, a SF board member and well known striped bass conservationist is heading up the SF booth this year at the show. We need volunteers to man the booth at all times during the show. With SF's free membership this is very easy duty. Most people you speak with are aware of the striper's current problems and will quickly join if you ask. As you know membership in SF is free to all.
