Upcoming hearing on tophy stripers
Stripers Forever MD members - earlier in the week we told you about the letter we sent to the Governor and DNR executives.  The letter is still available by going to Recent News on the right side of our website www.stripersforever.org.  Here is information on an upcoming meeting where the spring trophy fishery regulations will be discussed.  We urge members concerned about the future of the recreational striped bass fishery in MD to attend, and to put forward the ideas expressed in our letter about removing sufficient quota from the commercial fishery to allow the spring recreational fishery to continue.  This meeting is next Monday night.
