RISAA Show in Providence

Stripers Forever members in MA and RI. The Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association has been kind enough to give Stripers Forever a complimentary booth at their show in the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 5, 6, and 7. The show opens Friday at 1:00 P.M. and Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 A.M. It runs until 9:00 all three days. We need a few folks to man our booth.
Booths at shows like this have added a great deal to our membership - and therefore voice - this winter. At Somerset NJ and Marlboro MA we signed up over 400 per show. RI is a commercial fishing state for striped bass, and we look forward to this opportunity to gather supporters for our gamefish movement.
It is not difficult. We have pads of sign up sheets for folks to fill out with their e-mail addresses, and we also have hats and decals available. A little sales personality and the ability to simply articulate why striped bass should be a gamefish are helpful.
