Stripers Forever - in the last three weekends we have done shows in Baltimore, Marlboro MA, and Somerset NJ. In total we signed up around 1,000 new members! This is a very worthwhile effort, and the work is actually quite fun. These shows, though, require a minimum of two volunteers in the booth throughout the show. It cannot fall down to one or two people. We have an opportunity to do the sportsman's show in Springfield that we will have to pass on unless Dean Clark can find a couple more volunteers. Here message follows; I sure hope you bury him with offers to help.
The "cause" (gamefish status for striped bass) could sure use some REAL TIME support at the following shows. We need warm bodies "WORKING" the SF booth. As those of us that have already had the pleasure, "WORKING" in this case is like giving away 20 dollar bills! It is a blast.
Lets' pitch in folks and give a couple of hours to Stripers Forever at our booth in Wilmington, March 13 and 14 (confirmed) and also in Springfield,Feb. 19 - 22 (not confirmed as of yet for lack of volunteers!).
