Stripers Forever - Proposed NC Commercial Regulation Changes

North Carolina is proposing some changes to its ocean commercial striped bass fishery. SF has sent the attached letter to Dr. Louis Daniel regarding the proposed changes. While we have taken a position in favor of eliminating the use of gill nets as beach haul seines - give us a break - we have mainly taken this as an opportunity to urge the department to end commercial fishing for striped bass in NC.
