This article appeared in the Falmouth Enterprise on August 25th, 2006. If the population of larger stripers in the inshore waters is as healthy as proclaimed by commercial fishing interests, why would there be a need to illegally take fish in the EEZ? These folks were nabbed but how many others were not?
