Stripers Forever supporters, the Southwick Study is nearly ready for us to run with. In order to stick to our pledge of minimum fundraising activity we have auctioned off only a few of the many excellent trips that we have been offered. The generosity and commitment of the guiding community is testimony to how important it would be for their industry to make striped bass a coastwide gamefish. Offering trips to anglers with different tastes in fishing styles, and from a variety of areas along the coast has been high on our list of selection criteria.
These are the last two trips or items that we will auction to help pay for the Southwick Study, so bid high, and enjoy your choice of a trip to the Chesapeake or to big bass country on Long Island Sound. The attachments have all the information. Brad Burns
Auction ended on March 9th at 9:00 PM. The winning bids are:
Captain Millar - big bass trip high bid is $650.
Captain McLain - fish the Chesapeake is $350.
