Last call for our Annual Fishing Survey

Last call for the 2009 Fishing Survey!

We’ve already had a record response to our annual fishing survey,  If you haven’t checked it out yet, we’ve made it easier than ever to tell us how your season has been and how you view the striped bass fishery. We know that for some of you the fishing season is still underway but we’d like your responses nonetheless.

Here’s the link again to the survey:  Striper Survey

If you’ve already responded, the link will take you to a “thank you” page, so that you do not answer the survey twice.

If you haven’t had the chance to complete the survey, we need your input. We will send the results to our members and to the appropriate state and federal fisheries folks to let them know how the recreational fishing community sees the “state of the striper” .

We’ll keep the survey going until December 5th.

Please let your voice be heard.

Brad Burns and George Watson

P.S.  Stripers Forever is preparing for the upcoming legislative committee hearing in Massachusetts to have stripers designated as game fish in that state.  We are going to need every member – especially those in MA – to help contact legislators.  Please ask all your fishing friends go to www.stripersforever.org and join SF now.  It’s still free!
