Stripers Forever members - this is the time of year when many of us are beginning to think about guided fishing trips and new tackle. On the Stripers Forever website is a special section that lets you to search for tackle shops and guides who agree that striped bass should be designated as game fish. Why spend your money with folks who degrade the fishery by selling their catch? Use this link to search for guides, tackle shops, or both in the areas

If your favorite guide or tackle shop isn't listed here, but is a believer in taking the price off the stripers's head, ask them to go to the same page and find the link named Registration Page in the first paragraph. They can sign up in a matter of a couple of minutes. This service is free for the guides and shops and , of course, for you. It is part of Stripers Forever's effort to show that the real economic beneficiary of the striped bass fishery is the recreational fishing industry.
